Engine details: |
A 1967 4 bolt 427 block. it is standard bore. Numbers appear to be TO6?10JE 7116909 wth a date code B?227 Casting is hard to read. Factory 4 bolt main. Has a hole as shown in the photos I'm assuming from a rod. There does not appear to be any other visual damage in the block. Block was shot peened years ago there appears to be a marker circle by an outer freeze plug. I am not sure if that is indicating porosity or a crack, I do not see a crack there. I'm sure the block can be repaired easily and can check it further if customer desires. This block is priced several thousand dollars less then other blocks you will find on ebay. Block is sold as is, I will be more than happy to answer any questions or perform any other testing or checking out of the block if so desired. See my other auctions for dated components to this engine.
